Day 3 Post Surgery

Today had been a pretty good day. It started rough – there was a kink in her feeding tube, and they had to fix that. That was unpleasant for Nataleigh but not the worst thing she had gone through. After that we had visitors today! Thank you Jessica Van Meter for coming up to see us with Trever Smallwood and Haylie. It was nice to see familiar faces and I know Nataleigh was glad to have you all here. She has pretty much slept most of the day. She did sit in the chair for maybe an hour. Also wanted to say a big thank you to Hope Burke and Justin for the card and the gift, yesterday that made her smile. And Alicia Simpson for the video message today- Wyatt is a stinker but you both made her smile tonight. If day 3 is supposed to be the worst, then I’m hoping the worst is over and it’ll all get better day by day. She’s supposed to try walking tomorrow so I’ll let you all know how that goes. Thank you all for your continued thoughts and prayers, they are greatly
