Cooler weather sends people indoors for activities. You may have begun to see bowling centers advertise the start of their seasonal leagues. If you are looking for a family-friendly fundraising event for your COTA community campaign, consider COTA Bowling for Life.
COTA Bowling for Life is an extensive fundraising plan of action volunteers can use in an effort to ‘Make Strikes to Spare Transplant-Needy Kids.’ The COTA Bowling for Life subsection in the Fundraising Resources tab includes a guide with a variety of planning ideas, event templates, a sample timeline and flyer examples for hosting a successful fundraiser at a local bowling alley … for experienced, serious bowlers as well as those there just to have fun! Also included is information about additional COTA fundraising opportunities during the event, such as rummage sales, COTA paper icons and silent auctions.

What’s missing? Just the COTA volunteers and the bowlers!
This is an opportunity for ALL COTA community fundraising campaigns to raise awareness and funds for COTA in honor of local transplant patients. We encourage COTA community campaigns to reach out and perhaps partner with a local American Legion Post or a local bowling center in a joint effort to make a life-saving difference.
Remember to send us photos of your bowlers! If you have any questions about planning a COTA Bowling for Life event, contact us at CampaignInfo@cota.org.
